Come and enjoy this full day adventure with us, visiting the experimental terraces of Moray known as the Inca agricultural laboratory, the Maras Village and with the little forced descent of the Salineras, then continue to Urubamba, from where you will return to the City of Cusco.
You will be picked up from the hotel between 08:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and will embark on the trip to the Cruzpata Village, where you will prepare to start the adventure on bicycles. The first point to visit will be Moray known as the Inca agricultural laboratory, which has a set of concentric circular terraces, previously used for the acclimatization of crops. Our guide will give us the full explanation about this place.
We then head towards the town of Maras where we will enjoy a delicious local lunch. After lunch we will continue cycling to the Maras ponds, halfway along the path will become pure descent with some exciting curves and you can see some cliffs during the trip.
Upon arrival at Las Salineras, our Guide will explain how they diverted this flow of salt water from the Cerro Qaqawinay underground to reach the thousands of wells located on terraced terraces. The members of the Community of Maras still produce salt for local and international consumption. The light of the Sun plays on the white layers of Salt and produces an impressive spectacle that has never been seen before. Finally, it will continue during a brief descent to Urubamba, in order to take the bus back to the City of Cusco. Approximately arrive to Cusco at 17:00 hrs.
