Come with us to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and enjoy the landscapes of corn, potatoes, goose, and animals of the area before arriving at the wonderful architecturals places of Inca engineering, the concentric terraces of Moray and the innumerable Salt pits full of color and texture in Maras, all this before boarding our train to Aguas Calientes, from where we can ascend to the ruins of Machu Picchu and receive the first rays of sun.
We will start the adventure by picking you up from the hotel at 8:00 am, we will board our private transportation to Maras, where we will pass through communities like Cachimayo and Chinchero. We will walk the streets of Maras and we will be able to appreciate some colonial gates that continue in use until the present day. We will continue our journey to Moray where we will see the terraces or platforms in a kind of agricultural laboratory, each terrace has a different temperature for each product and its growing condition. Then we will head to the salt mines where we will find 3000 salt extraction wells, where we will observe different colors and textures in each of the wells. In the afternoon we will be descending to Urubamba where our private transportation will be waiting for us to drive to Ollantaytambo, where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.
We will get up very early and after eating a nutritious breakfast we will ascend to the ruins of Machu Picchu, during the visit we will see the flora and fauna of the area, when arriving at the archaeological complex we will see the sunrise in all its splendor, then we will have 2 hours guided tour around the ruins and the rest of the time to take photos on our own. We will descend by bus to warm waters for lunch, and optionally we will be able to enter the Thermal Baths. In the afternoon we will be boarding our train to Ollantaytambo, where our private transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.
