Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley

We will begin our adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in Cusco between 03:30 to 04:00 am heading to the South side of the city of Cusco taking the road toward Puno, after 2 hours of travel we will arrive to the community of Japura, a small village where we will enjoy breakfast.

After breakfast continue aboard our mobility to Pampachiri (cold field) that it is at an altitude of 4480 meters above sea level, from this point, we will begin the hike to the Apu Vinicunca or mountain of 7 colors, the walk takes about 2 hours to 3 hours depending on the pace and experience in hike of travelers.

To reach the Rainbow Mountain (5020 masl) we will be able to appreciate the impressive chain of mountains of colors that have made famous to this area, the view will also depend on the weather coming to see sometimes even the presence of snow, which gives it a greater attractiveness to the place.

After enjoying all the beauty place and take photos of neglect to share in our social networks, family and friends we will begin with the descent toward the Valley Red, this immense valley receives this name due to the reddish tint that it presents.

The descent through this valley will take an average of 3 hours until we arrive at the village of Japura, where we enjoy a typical lunch.

Once lunch we return to the city of Cusco in tourist mobility, arriving at the city by averaging the 19:00 hrs approximately.
