Inca Jungle Day 2: Trekking - Inca Trail - Thermal Baths - Santa Teresa

We Start early our second day of tour on an ancient Inca trail that was created hundreds of years ago in a humid and warm climate, the guide will stop in many places explaining along the way about the customs of the Incas and the purposes of their ways.

Do Not forget that we will walk through the region of Cusco and all the way we are surrounded by insect of the sand that leave stings that last many days to disappear, so it is better to use enough insect repellent.

And as we mentioned before, as you walk through the jungle, we will be very close to the plantation of fruit trees, coffee and coca without counting that many times we will meet in the forest with picturesque birds and some monkeys, but the best of the views is to reach the top of the mountain and appreciate the valley of the Urubamba River that we left behind in the jungle Walk.

If the road seemed long, do not worry because we will arrive in a village where we can rest in a hammock and have lunch to continue our trek.

Finally, after walking for more than 14 kilometres from the Jungle Trek, getting to the hot springs of Cocalmayo will be a relief where we catch our breath by relaxing our aching muscles, and we better relax in the warm water!

Now to rest in the lodge we had to give a last half hour trek to Santa Teresa where we finished our 2 day Jungle Trek.
