Sacred Valley + Machu Picchu

CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY - OLLANTAYTAMBO - AGUAS CALIENTES

We will start with the pick-up from your Hostel between 07:50 and 08:00 a.m., to go on a tourist bus to the fertile lands of Urubamba and the fascinating Sacred Valley of the Incas, first we will arrive at the colorful little town of Pisac, its little houses of adobe with its magical and cheerful craft market, and local people dressed typically. We will continue with the visit to the Archaeological Center of Pisac where we will have a guided tour of 2 hours through the ruins, the ceremonial area of ​​the Temple of the Sun, the terraces of Pisac, the Intihuatana, Inca baths and the military Citadel of Q'allaqasa. We will return to the town of Pisac and continue our journey to Urubamba where we will have a small stop to enjoy lunch, after lunch in a period of 30 minutes we will arrive at the city of Ollantaytambo surrounded by magical mountains and beautiful landscapes, where we will discover again the magnificent Inca constructions, and the beauty of its inhabitants with their typical clothes.

After the visit to the Archaeological Center of Ollantaytambo we will go to the train station to board ours and then travel for 1 hour and a half to arrive at Aguas Calientes where a representative of the accommodation will be waiting to help us get to the Hostel.

Depending on the train schedule we take a train in the afternoon or night (this subject to availability). We will have time to visit Aguas Calientes and at night the guide will visit us at the Hostel to coordinate the departure point and time for the guided the next day in the citadel of Machu Picchu .

MACHUPICCHU - OLLANTAYTAMBO - CUSCO

This day we will start with a nutritious breakfast at the Hostel, then we will go to take the first bus to Machupicchu, we will arrive at the entrance at 6:00 am, when the doors of the sanctuary open (have the passport and entry to the citadel at hand). We will start with the guided tour before the Sanctuary is filled with people, that will take us approximately 2 to 2 and a half hours, where we will move through the most important areas, viewpoints, temples, small urns and all the best archaeological remains, guided and explained by a reliable professional. After our interesting adventure we will have extra time to explore a little more and take pictures.

Your guide will advise you when and where to use your bus ticket back to Aguas Calientes. Once we return to Aguas Calientes, we will pick up our baggage from the Hostel and leave on the train to Ollantaytambo, where our shared tourist transport will wait for us, which will take us to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 22:30 hrs.
