Traditional Colca Canyon

We will start this tour picking you from your hotel in Arequipa between 07:30 am to 08:00 am. We will go to one of the deepest and most beautiful canyons in the World, we will take the road of Yura and we will cross the Nevado Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas - Aguada Blanca National Reserve, characterized by one of the most popular camelids in the world, Vicuña. Also it counts on an extraordinary flora between which it emphasizes the ichu. We will also visit the Bofedales de Tocra, where we will observe a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will then pass through the crater of an extinct Volcano called Chucura. We will stop at  Volcanes view point, one of the highest areas of this route located at 4 800 masl, from this point we will be able to observe much of the Western Cordillera. We will arrive at Chivay between 13:30 pm to 14:00 pm, then we will settle in our lodging and soon enjoy our lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the hotsprings of 'La Calera', its waters are  ranging from 35 ° to 38 ° temperatures in the pools. In the evening we will enjoy a dinner with a folk show.
Night in Chivay

After enjoying our breakfast, we will go to the Cruz del Condor Viewpoint, strategic point of observation of the Colca Canyon and we'll delight with the flight of the condors. After having appreciated this great show we will return and stop in the following towns: Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful Colonial Churches, we will also stop at the following viewpoints: Choquetico and Antahuillque, place where we will have an impressive view of the valley, tombs and pre Inca models. Upon arrival in Chivay we will enjoy our lunch (not included). We will arrive at the city of Arequipa approximately at 5:00 pm.
