Fascinating Jungle

We will start the tour picking you up on your arrival at Puerto Maldonado and we'll visit the central market and other attractions in the city, enjoy lunch in the city or in the hostel (eco-lodge), this will depend on the time of your arrival. We will go to the port where the motorized boat will be waiting for us to navigate the Madre de Dios River for about an hour, until arriving at the hostel, where each one will be designated a room.
This same day we will visit The Island of the monkeys, home to hundreds of monkeys, like the black spider monkey, capuchin, lionfish, monkeys among others.

We will return to our Hostel to enjoy a delicious dinner and at night we will have the option to participate in the night activities.

We will begin the day with an abundant breakfast and then we will take a walk of an hour and a half through the virgin forest towards Lake Sandoval. The abundant vegetation will fascinate us with its orchids and platanillos with striking flowers of red color of 1-2 meters of height. We will go through the waters looking for the piranha and the famous piache, considered the largest freshwater fish in the world and that grows up to 2 meters long.

In this area we will see animals like giant otter, black caiman and a great variety of birds. We will make a stop to enjoy our lunch and those who wish can refresh themselves in the cool waters of the lake.
We will return to our hostel where we will enjoy a delicious dinner and again we will have the nocturnal activities optional.

This day we will begin our adventure with a nutritious breakfast and then depart down to the Taricaya Project. Where we will see a variety of animals, such as turtles, macaws, small cats and large mammals such as the sajino. After our lunch we will go through the long paths in the forest and we will pass by a suspension bridge (100 m long and that is to 60 m of height) while we learn more about the native animals of the Amazon and of the medicinal plants .

We will return to the Hostel, where we will have our delicious dinner, and like the previous nights we will have the nocturnal activities optional

On this day we will depart very early, to head up the river to reach the parrot colpa, a wall rich in mineral salts where hundreds of green parrots arrived very early to feed on it. We will have our breakfast and spend an hour and a half in this beautiful place, watching as the colpas come alive and fill with color, movements and sounds.

Then we will return to the hostel to pack and depart for the city of Puerto Maldonado.
