The cloud forest is the habitat of the emblematic cock of the rocks, the national bird of Peru, of which we will visit its site of communal courtship, where the males of this colorful and spectacular bird defend their domains of other males and begin their ritual, swinging , jumping and making sounds designed to attract the attention of the females.

The cloud forest is also home to the spectacled bear, the last short-faced bear in South America. We will spend the night in a typical and comfortable hostel in the middle of the forest. (Lunch and dinner)
